About Clarizon

Clarizon was founded in 2005 to develop a patented catalyst for the electrochemical generation of ozone.

The practical performance of the technology was proven over the next 2 years with support from the NorthStar Proof of Concept fund.

In early 2008, Clarizon secured an equity investment of £100,000 from the North East Equity Matching Fund (NEEMF) and further six-figure funding from other financial sources including a private investor, Robin Rae, MD of Edinburgh-based investment company Jaroscope and the company directors.

Clarizon's ongoing product development is also supported by a UK R&D grant provided via One NorthEast.
